Ta-Shri Wedding, Islington Town Hall - Saturday 21st December 2019

Weddings

Shri's friends and family had come from South Africa and Paris - and Tasha's had come down from Cheshire and up from Somerset - to gather in Islington Town Hall where a delightful registrar struggled to pronounce Shri's full name but finally got them both married and showered in rose petals on the steps of one of London's most popular wedding venues. It was a very, very happy day - with Tasha's brother singing a well-crafted song on the guitar as Tasha, Shri and their two witnesses, struggled to find pens that worked to sign the register. Drinks at a lovely Islington pub, followed by a delicious lunch at Fredericks in Camden Passage - and the day rounded off with drinks at the Narrowboat Pub on St Peter's street with dozens of Tasha and Shri's noisy friends.  Having just endured a Christmas election here in the UK, I think we'd all agree: Christmas weddings are far more fun!! Especially Tashri's!  Happy Christmas everyone
