Her husbands was just before hers. 29/1/1881 Lucy Francis Synge Administration of the Personal Estate of Lucy Francis Synge (wife of Francis Hutchinson Synge Esq.) late of the Grand Hotel was granted at the Principal Registry under certain specialities to the said Francis Hutchinson Synge of 5 Boyle Street, Saville Row in the County of Middlesex retired Major-General from Her Majesty's Army.' '11/5/1881 The will of Lucy Frances Synge wife of ( Francis Hutchinson Synge Esq) formerly of Monaco, France but late of the "Grand" Hotel Bordigherra in Italy who died 10th February 1880 at the "Grand" Hotel was proved at the Prinicipal Registry by Edwin Poole a captain in the Royal Marines at present stationed at Forton Barracks Gosport in the County of Southampton. The brother and one of the executors being granted under cetain limitations. Special Administration Principal Registry 1881' The Will of Lucy Frances Synge nee Poole Be it known that Lucy Frances Synge (Wife of Francis Hutchinson Synge Esquire) late of the Grand Hotel Bordigherra in Italy deceased died on the tenth day of February 1880 at the Grand Hotel aforesaid having during her coverture with the said Francis Hutchinson Synge by virtue of certain powers and authorities vested in her by certain articles of agreement under and bearing date the fourteenth day of May 1873 and made between the said Francis Hutchinson Synge when of No 23 Davies Street Berkkey Square in the County of Middlesex of the first part of the said Lucy Frances Synge (Wife of said Francis Hutchinson Synge of the second part and Henry Edward Poole of the Junior Naval and Military Club Dover street in the said County of Middlesex a Captain in the Lanarkshire Regiment of Militia and Edwin Poole a lieutenant in the Royal Marines then serving on board Her Majesty's Ship 'Penelope' of the third part made and executed her last will and testament bearing date the first day of June 1878 and thereof appointed the said Henry Edward Poole and Edwin Poole Executors. That the said Will has not yet been proved and that the said Deceased died possessed of or entitled to certain personal Estate over which she had no disposing power and concerning which she is dead intestate. And be it also known that at the date herinunder written Letters of Administration of the personal Estate of the said Deceased save and except all such personal Estate as she by virtue of the said Articles of Agreement had a right to appoint or dispose of and has in and by her said Will appointed or dispossed of accordingly save and except any personal Estate which vested in her as the Executor? of any person were granted by Her Majesty's High Court of Justice at the Principal Registry of the Probate Division thereof to the said Francis Hutchinson Synge Esquire the lawful Husband of the said Deceased he having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same. Dated the twenty seventh day of January 188? Limited Probate passed at the Principal Registry May1881.
