John Tippett
He took the surname of Vivian in May 1820 on succeeding to the estate of his kinsman James Vivian
John Tippet, b.20 Aug.1784, succeeded to the estates of "Pencalenick" under the entail on the death of his first cousin James Vivian Tippet 1820, assumed the name of Vivian 4 May 1820, d.31 Dec. 1854.
John Tippet Vivian 1784-1854 Partner in the Cornish Copper Company, son of John Edwards daughter Ann Tippet nee Edwards. Changed his name to Vivian in 1820. He was a Trustee in 1828 and one of the defenders with Sandys and Carne in the action of 1828 at Bodmin. A partner from probably 1823 and certainly so from 1828 to 1849.
